Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Review - Insanely fun

Image
There's a level in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (which is out now on PS4 and Xbox One) that almost broke my will to go on. It was Cortex Castle, the next-to-last level, which should give you an indication of how far this console game pushed me to the brink. If you are the type of person who wants something relaxing to play after work, or favors the storyline experience within the gameplay experience, this game is a hard sell. But I say that ironically, as a gamer who typically fits into both of those categories, I stuck it out and endured countless losses to my eventual satisfaction. When speaking about Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time we've gotta begin with what jumps right off the screen and hits you : it's visuals. Crash Bandicoot was one of those first icons of the 3D era of gaming. Made famous by a series of hits for the PlayStation One, he went dormant as platforming titles dropped off in popularity. But with a recent resurgence coming together with t...

3 Top Games for Children

Image
Spyro Reignited Trilogy Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a remaster of the first Spyro trilogy made by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Every game is a 3D platformer featuring the titular protagonist, a juvenile purple dragon named Spyro, as he attempts to restore peace in a pair of worlds unique to each videogame by vanquishing enemies. Spyro's sidekick, a dragonfly called Sparx, acts as his health, defending him from a restricted number of enemy attacks. Moreover, the games feature a number of collectibles which has to be acquired to make progress, like gems, which also act as currency, and dragon eggs. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a video game to be considered as a reworking of the original console games. The work done by the development group is commendable, but they not only recreated the stories of the American team with a new appearance, but they also enriched them in particulars and in the drama. Ins...

The best Far Cry video games

Image
Far Cry Primal Far Cry Primal is an amazing standalone title that also has historical research meat (in case you are interested). Far Cry Primal is a fantastic departure from the usual first-person shooting adventure. Although it's formulaic, it has tons to see and do, a Far Cry sense, a rich and detailed world, detailed graphic, and more, things that make this an adventure worth taking. I'm loving this game thoroughly, huge and fun map to explore. Masses of quests and loads to do. It's incredible the Divisions hyped when titles like Primal are in the background. The graphic is fantastic with awesome lighting effects due to new technologies. Set during the savage Stone Age, Far Cry Primal is a full-fledged single player experience that will take gamers to 10,000 BC in history to a time when massive beasts like the woolly mammoth and sabretooth tiger ruled the Earth. The game is placed in the ps4 shooting games category , but keep in mind that we are back in time and the we...

Best 10 Action-RPG Games

Image
What are the best PS4 RPGs? There are many video games of this genre that worth your attention. Some of the best video games are JPRGs and MMOs. So if you like to immerse in a fictional world with a character that you love, role-playing video games are your cup of tea. Some prefer the action role-playing video game, some classic adventures where text occupy a large role, but whatever you like, I am sure you will find something worthy in this list. Without further ado, let's analyze the best PlayStation role-playing video games. Diablo III Diablo III is a terrific video game, and every bit the landmark achievement in the genre that everybody expected out of Blizzard. The demonstration and battle are next to none, and the co-op focus is well-executed and a natural fit for the genre. It's a shame that the online requirement is a deal-breaker for some, whether due to a moral stance or a crappy Internet connection. It's an addictive, beautifully crafted and truly complete actio...

Metro Exodus  is a FPS game with survival horror and stealth elements, developed by 4A Games and published on February 15, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and on November 19, 2019 for Stadia by Deep Silver. This is one of the best xbox one shooting games of 2019 : a game with a beautiful story and great graphics and sounds, as well as nice gameplay. You manage to escape Moscow and are now on train, searching for a refuge to settle in. That's basic plot. This Russian odyssey's quality is sometimes inconsistent and varied as its climatic zones, but overall of good quality, much better than others fps games. Exodus manages to create an action experience that i...

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot - review from a DBZ fan

Image
After watching every single episode on Cartoon Network, I longed for the perfect Dragon Ball game: a sprawling RPG adventure featuring the characters I loved and the series' epic story. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an open-world fighting game where you relive the best moments from the Dragon Ball Z anime series. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a semi-open world fighting game where you relive the most memorable moments from the anime series. Probably one of the best xbox games of the series, if not the best action-RPG ever released by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game never really lives up to the potential of an Action-RPG set in the DBZ universe because of it. The game's huge task of letting you play through the entire main story of the series, with new side quests and activities peppered in makes it easy to pick up and play if you are unfamiliar with the show, but longtime fans have most likely done this all before. I wanted to buy Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot for Xbox and play it a...

Death Stranding an interesting action video game

Image
Death Stranding once again sees Hideo Kojima pushing the boundaries of what video games can be, and the result is a breathtaking and uncompromising - if at times willfully baffling - experience. There was perhaps no bigger moment in gaming back in 2016 than legendary director Hideo Kojima walking out onstage at the Shrine Auditorium shortly after his departure from Konami and declaring I'm back!” to an audience fervently awaiting what he would make next and when they'd get to play it. Cue the screens above him showing ghostly hand-prints pressing into black sand as Norman Reedus makes his debut as protagonist Sam Porter Bridges to the tune of indie band Low Roar's I'll Keep Coming” and two thoughts raced across my mind: Video games have never looked better and what in the hell is Death Stranding going to be? The relationship between Sam and BB mirrors my experience with Death Stranding, the latest epic game from enigmatic director Hideo Kojima, who is best known for his...
