What action-adventure games should I play?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

On her expedition, she stumbles upon the paramilitary organisation known as Trinity, who are hell bent on using the Mayan artifact to reshape the world. There are numerous challenge tombs and puzzles, still one of the pillars of the videogame. The story missions, graphics, environments and explorable tombs are some of the main features praised by critics and players of the game. With a greater focus on raiding tomb and strongly improved stealth combat (where you can stealthy kill an enemy or run away and camouflage or run out of the combatants line of sight) makes this game the best one of the series.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider picks up a short time after the events of Rise of the Tomb Raider and finds Lara desperate and obsessed to stop the shadow organization Trinity, the same antagonists from the previous game. She feels guilty that one of her mistake set in motion the destruction of the world. Now she fights against the Trinity thugs, but she is running out of time. She has to save the world from apocalypse - your next 20 hours or so will be occupied with this journey. The game has the largest hub, bigger tombs and it is huge in content. To play everything it may take up to 50 hours of gaming. I enjoyed playing this game on my console, and I genuine believe it is one of the best ps4 games that come out lately.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider meaningfully wraps up the journey Lara Croft, this being the last game of the Origin trilogy. We found the game title one of the most beautiful action-adventure video games released in this series. If this style of games are your poison, than you should put Shadow of the Tomb Raider on your buying list.

Assassin's Creed: Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins sees Ubisoft take to the series back to its roots, with the game set in ancient Egypt. The only major drawback of Assassin's Creed Origins is that the side quests in each area can feel a bit samey - and you must complete some to keep up with the main storyline's level requirements. While the ending of the game does feel like it goes on just a little farther than it should have, I have to admit I had an excellent time playing Assassin's Creed Origins, though the level based gameplay and it's ties to microtransactions does rub me the wrong way, overall, I enjoyed my time with Assassin's Creed: Origins.

It brings a flavor of tomb raider wrapped in a Assassin's Creed structure and mixed in with the girth of a Horizon Zero Dawn. It will exceed gamer's expectations and set a new standard for the game series. Assassin's Creed Origins improves in every way from its few installments, and it gets close to the heights of the videogames it tries to emulate. Its combat is Souls level. I really do have to imagine that if you have loved a game title at the Assassin's Creed game series you'll enjoy what Origins does here, but in addition, in the event you don't have 60+ hours to tap into a game title as completely enormous as this one, I don't blame you. Playing it on Xbox is the same as on PlayStation. Xbox games like this one are always great titles to have.
I enjoyed my time more so than I expected, having thought I had burned out permanently with this franchise. Origins has all of the elements of a successful video game: interesting story world-building, beautiful graphics, and fun gameplay. Origins' park is everything you wanted from the Creed.

These are two great options for action-adventure fans. Origins is maybe a little older, as it come out on October 27, 2017. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a new release, so maybe this will influence your decision. Both are great games to play, and I enjoyed both. So if you are looking to buy games in the action-adventure category, than you should pick them both.
