Space Marine 2 Review: A Digital Battlefield Worth Fighting On

Image
Strapping On the Power Armor As soon as I loaded up Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 , it felt like I’d locked myself into a roaring suit of power armor. Marching into the first mission as Lieutenant Titus—now sporting the Deathwatch badge—turned the living room into a warzone and me into the general leading the charge. Every footstep carries an incredible thud like the armor remembers centuries of battles, and somehow it’s not a hassle to move. Titus glides forward with the kind of muscle and finesse that’s like a rhino learning ballet. Just roaming the massive glass point of the first level proved to be my first weirdly peaceful thrill of the game. The Mighty of Combat When you step into Space Marine 2 , combat isn’t just shooting and swinging; it’s a bloody concert, and you’re the conductor with a chainsword for a baton. Every swipe sends a wave of carnage that builds like a final chorus of glistening body parts and glorious screams. I met a swarm of Tyranids that felt like the l...

Cal's Internal Struggle: Battling the Empire's Dominance

Image
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place around five years after the events in Fallen Order, continuing the journey of Cal Kestis as he confronts the Galactic Empire. Over time, the familiar crew of the Mantis has dispersed, leaving Cal to take charge of the ship in Greez's absence. Despite his efforts, Cal starts questioning the purpose of battling the Empire, as he hasn't significantly impacted their dominance in the last five years. In the previous game, Cal grappled with the weight of being a Jedi, the isolation it brought, and his struggles with learning the ways of the Jedi. Expansive Universe: Enhanced Worlds and Quests Regarding the returning characters like Merrin, Cere, and Greez, their time apart over the years allowed them to find aspects of life they'd been searching for but hadn't previously had the chance to explore internally. For example, Greez has settled down and now runs Pyloon's Saloon. Interestingly, this becomes your main hub that expands as yo...

The Callisto Protocol - a modern sci-fi survival horror

Image
The Callisto Protocol is a solid third-person survival horror game with amounts of dismemberment that may make your stomach turn with cool sci-fi-themed settings as well as weapons that are completely out of the ordinary. The Callisto Protocol is a game that improves all aspects of the Dead Space while also taking the full benefit of today's gaming equipment. The beginnings of the Callisto Protocol began because of the formation of Striking Distance as a studio in PUBG Corporation (now PUBG Studios) in June 2019, helmed by Glen Schofield, who had previously created with Glen Schofield the Dead Space series at Visceral Games. The studio was founded to extend the PUBG: Battlegrounds universe by making a story-driven game. Fighting  biophages  may feel incredibly weighty, with satisfying swings smashing through bones and cutting off limbs. It is even better once the stun baton has received some upgrades and the fact that the players will always be chasing the enemy to knock them...

Chernobylite is a sci-fi survival horror shooter with fabulous visuals

We have got noticed any efficiency problems or frame drops during our several hours within the Exclusion Zone. A videogame that brings atomic terror back on the table, a topic that is hot because of what transpired, in the beginning, direct from the conflict in Ukraine where the Chernobyl plant suffered attacks against the installations. We can easily build up generators of electricity as well as more than less comfortable beds, sofas, tables, chairs... It is exactly where the video game's RNG starts to show its face. In mention of the game save file corruption concern I tried to perform exactly what I had done on the PlayStation 4 to replicate the issue. Guess everything happened certainly to me? Also, you can open wormholes and cruises through experience to be able to alter the past or undo decisions you have made that can help with all the "surviving" components. Wear your most anti-radiation outfits, we're off on a trip to Chernobyl as we embark on an adventure t...
