DOOM  2016 needs no introduction. Doom is the first major installment since Doom 3 in 2004. It is a  well known  first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks.  Doom was released  for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on May 13, 2016, and for Nintendo Switch the next year, on November 10, 2017.  The  Switch version was  co -developed with Panic Button. Doom 2016 marked the reboot of the franchise and  was well received  by shooting fans all over the world. DOOM 2016 is a first-person shooter in which players are fighting demons and undead on a distant future on planet Mars. It is a video game developed by id Software and published by Activision in 2016 for PS4, Xbox and PC. A year later, it come out for Switch and Stadia. Doom struggles to finish what it starts, and for a franchise that practically created what we understand as shooter multiplayer 22 years ago, its largely flavorless multiplayer is surprising. But on the whole, as a new interpretation of one of the most formative, hard to pin down cyphers of gaming, identification has done a great job in making something which feels new and familiar, and, most importantly, pretty damned enjoyable.
