A Galaxy of Shadows and Secrets  There's an era within Star Wars Outlaws where you're floating through the sky with only the ship and you and a lone companion for the expanse of space. The universe sprawls out in front of you like a map of infinite possibilities However, don't let it fool you into thinking that this isn't an easy journey. The places you'll explore can be as treacherous as they are gorgeous as well. And if you're in the shoes of Kay Vess, you're not an eminent Jedi or noble heroic figure. It's a crime, and the galaxy follows its own laws. Right from the beginning, Star Wars Outlaws makes it clear it's not The Star Wars of legends and lightsabers. This is the dark underbelly, those dark corners, where trades are negotiated in whispers, and having a blaster on your side is just as important as the air that you breathe. Kay's novel isn't about defending the galaxy, but rather the process of surviving. Let m...

Among the things I like in  Star Wars Outlaws is the world-building, an intricate and interwoven tapestry drawing heavily on the vast Star Wars lore. The story takes place between  the events of The Empire is Striking Back in the series and  Return of the Jedi . A time that is filled with conflict and tension, as well as the ever-increasing pressure that is the Empire. The period was explored through a range of different media but  Star Wars Outlaws explores the dark side, which is a part of the galaxy that is often hinted at, yet rarely thought about. Seamless World-Building: The Fascinating Star Wars Universe Star Wars Outlaws is much more than an innovative entry into the world of gaming and a celebration of the intricate story that has formed this Star Wars universe for over forty years. It is a new game for players and fans of the universe who buy PS5 games when they come out, even if they are a little on ...

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place around five years after the events in Fallen Order, continuing the journey of Cal Kestis as he confronts the Galactic Empire. Over time, the familiar crew of the Mantis has dispersed, leaving Cal to take charge of the ship in Greez's absence. Despite his efforts, Cal starts questioning the purpose of battling the Empire, as he hasn't significantly impacted their dominance in the last five years. In the previous game, Cal grappled with the weight of being a Jedi, the isolation it brought, and his struggles with learning the ways of the Jedi. Expansive Universe: Enhanced Worlds and Quests Regarding the returning characters like Merrin, Cere, and Greez, their time apart over the years allowed them to find aspects of life they'd been searching for but hadn't previously had the chance to explore internally. For example, Greez has settled down and now runs Pyloon's Saloon. Interestingly, this becomes your main hub that expands as yo...
