Darksiders Genesis reinvent itself as co-op hack and slash video game
Darksiders Genesis is one of the prequels to the first Darksiders game in the series, which allows us for the first time to play as the unknown until now Horseman known as Strife. The game is set before the events of Darksiders 1 and for the first time in the franchise's history, introduces Co-Op gameplay mechanics. Darkside Genesis was developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic at the end of 2019 (December 5, 2019) for Stadia and Microsoft Windows, and in the first quarter of 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and Switch (14 February 2020). We found Darksiders on the Xbox games shelf pretty soon after its release. Darksiders Genesis introduces the fourth and last horseman Strife, as well as co-op gameplay for the first time in the history of the franchise. Isometric gameplay fits the Darksiders formula surprisingly well, and Strife is given a lot more character by having War by his side.
