In the latest installment, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One takes a big leap in its approach compared to previous games in the series. What's intriguing is its exploration of a lesser-known period in Sherlock Holmes' life – his early 20s. Here, he's not the prodigy often depicted in movies, nor is he the iconic super detective we instantly recognize with his deerstalker hat and pipe. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is stunning in its graphics and has deep gameplay mechanics. It is an emotional game with a deep story about psychological explanation and trauma. Chapter One turns into the masterpiece that it is. The announcement of Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, the reboot of developer Frogwares' long-running investigator series that transforms its classical sleuth-'em-up gameplay into an open-world environment, has revived hopes for a return of Cole Phelps and marvelous, but those hopes have already been dashed as well. Chapter One has a lot of open-world features and its inspired combat helps its protagonist to solve the mystery at the heart of this beautiful game.
