Less Is More: Eve's Most Alluring Outfits

Image
Why Stellar Blade's Most Alluring Outfits Are the Ones That Hide the Most I’m having a blast with Stellar Blade , the latest action game from Shift Up. As I dive into my second playthrough in New Game Plus, I’m growing even fonder of the combat, the story, and the world. I’m also uncovering more outfits for Eve—many of which wouldn’t look out of place on a high-end fashion Instagram page. The game offers over 70 different outfits, and while plenty are undeniably sexy, some of the most alluring ones are surprisingly modest. It’s no surprise that this game has been at the center of online debates recently, particularly concerning Eve—a fierce soldier who dominates enemies while turning heads. Some players are up in arms over what they perceive as “censorship” of certain outfits, going so far as to create petitions demanding that Stellar Blade be freed from the supposed grip of prudish restrictions. It’s certainly a perspective, though it’s worth noting that Eve and her wardrob...

Cheeki Breeki and the Heart of Chornobyl: The Story of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl unfolds in a world where developing a game is not an itinerary rather a fight for survival. It feels as though it’s at this point, in the game development cycle that, the team is forcibly sucked into and enchanted by the lore and aesthetic the game offers this resembles the stalker zone quite closely. Despite the meet odds - odds that would make the toughest stalker cower in fright – the GSC Game World team was able to seamlessly integrate a sequel that gives off vibes of nostalgia of the original through its game trilogy whilst also leaving unhindered room for strategizing the sequel game. The Burden of the Past Let’s cut to the chase, the truth is that the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R game emerging out of Eastern Europe holds the record of being a Eurojank classic. Naturally, the functionality and user experience of the game was sheer horror, the bugs alone are enough to make anybody deeply frustrated. The AI was the cherry on top, on some days it co...

Mastering Stellar Blade

Image
Stellar Blade revolves around this concept: an epic struggle for Earth's survival through the exploration of deserted settlements and great hack-and-slash combat, while unlocking stories about past residents adds another emotional depth but without being a stand-out feature of the game. DualSense adds another element of engagement to the combat experience, as developers create a world both hauntingly beautiful, even if desolated, and rather brutal. Eve and her interactions with other survivors create a deep sense of immersion which allows players to connect more deeply with both the storyline and its characters. Eve forms bonds with humanity's remaining members, creating camaraderie and shared purpose without romantic attachments, which is rather disappointing. Deep and Exciting Soulslike Combat The Sekiro-like combat is the star of Stellar Blade: not innovative but very good for a Soulslike game...
