Fight, sneak and survive in A Plague Tale: Innocence.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is an interesting and complex video game that come out as a big surprise, almost out of nowhere. It is a survival action-adventure video game with beautiful created characters placed in a dark medium, filled with plague and rats, and run by Inquisition's people. On the run by the Inquisition, you have to use stealth, cunning and violence to escape from supernatural and human threats. It is a game that will keep you hooked until the end and you will love the two child characters, probably the best depiction of a young character in a video game. A Plague Tale Innocence is a great choice for all those enjoy PS4 adventure games, and if you have a PS5 console, you know you will play it without problems on your device.
I must say, it is really stunning how great this video game is. The action is located in France throughout the 1300s throughout the time of the bubonic plague. The narrative follows a young woman named Amicia who's thrust into handling the Inquisition and the unbelievably designed rat invasion plaguing everything in their path because she attempts to maintain her younger brother secure. It manages to create a very dark atmosphere, almost horror. The graphics is well designed and the art direction recreated a historical setting that sustain the narrative. A Plague Tale Innocence is an extreme and gorgeous narrative of Amicia and Hugo De Rune, about communicating and living in a dark time. The fact that the plague is so much present makes the game even more interesting as we live under the COVID-19's threat.
A Plague Tale: Innocence offers an experience supported by an original scenario, with gameplay that combines action, adventure and stealth phases. A Plague Tale does a decent job of creating its youthful protagonists suitably vulnerable to the surrounding dangers as you proceed through them from a third-person perspective, but the stealth puzzles and gameplay rarely feel imaginative. The gameplay involves everything, including survival, fight, stealth, action and adventure elements. It is rather linear, but it will keep you captivated. This is an indie game and it worth to support the developers, because they have created this beautiful gem of video game. Also, if you like to buy cheap PS5 games, than "A Plague Tale: Innocence" certainly fits the bill.
A Plague Tale: Innocence has a fantastic story, but the gameplay includes a degree of convenience that undercuts the dangerous world. Hugo's disobedience is a totally realistic source of frustration during the video game, and lots of Amicia's character development stems from how she manages it. Just a kid herself, she is able to make it wrong and lose her patience, but in always strong dialog she tries her very best time and to impress the seriousness of the position onto Hugo.
