WWE 2K Battlegrounds - if you like wrestling
The one thing that WWE 2K Battlegrounds has going for it is that unlike most other wrestling video games, it is immediately intuitive. You do not need to think about chain wrestling, timing-based pin minigames, cat-and-mouse submission minigames, how to establish and climb ladders in ladder games, the way to set your opponent on a table in a table match, etc.. To tell someone how to play, all you want to do is show them a controller and say "Here is your punch button, here is your kick button, this is how you throw, this is the way you block, be sure to press the button on screen once you get grabbed to perform a change, and if someone tries to pin or publish you, simply mash these buttons".
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an expert wrestling video game created by Saber Interactive and officially circulated by 2K Sports. It premiered on September 18, 2020 in lieu of 2K's normal annual WWE game, which was cancelled due to development troubles and also the negative reception in the previously published WWE 2K20. WWE 2K Battleground is a fun take on wrestling after the cluttered WWE 2K20, but microtransactions felt absolutely unnecessary. It is one of the arcade xbox sports games that you may enjoy, probably better multiplayer, but it is not a major title.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is certainly not the perfect arcade-style WWE experience, but it is a much better video game than I anticipated moving in with minimal bugs and issues. As a workprint for your long run, it's rock-solid and can readily lead to the Battlegrounds video games being a great breather involving simulation-based entries in the sequence moving forward. Hopefully we'll see things like customizable movesets be added into future installations -- but as it stands, this is a great way to enjoy some pick up and play WWE activity on any gaming platform you have. Some xbox games are better when played with friends and WWE 2K Battlegrounds is certainly one of them.
Its got tons of different manners, arenas and wrestlers to select from, each with his own special skills and trademark moves. Some motions are missing, its got a lot of bugs along with the micro-transaction ruin your progression, but it does not alter the fact that this game is enjoyable, and it doesn't have to be anything else. WWE 2K Battlgrounds is not going to provide you the thickness the conventional, more sim-related version aims to deliver. But for what it is, which is an arcade, over-the-top, dump-your-rules, beat-em up, it strikes all the significant points. The game is enjoyable, deeper than you might expect and provides a very good bang for your 40 bucks.
WWE 2K Battlgrounds will split a lot of individuals with its pay to play mindset, however there are loads of methods to earn it. With modes such as the King of the Battleground and its Campaign, you are never short of chances to go through the over-the-top gameplay.
