Two impressive arcade racing games
If you like arcade racing games, you have a lot from where to choose from. However, I do not think there are any better than Forza Horizon 4 and Project Cars 3. I would recommend these games to all racing fans that do not want a simulation, but a beautiful arcade that make you happy driving. In my opinion, these are the best arcade racers for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, as well as for older version of consoles - Xbox One and PS4.
Forza Horizon 4
Forza Horizon 4 is a Micorost exclusive, so you will not find it for PlayStation. This is a huge issue, and I usually try to include in my selection games that work great on both platforms. However, Forza Horizon 4 is simply the best arcade racer to date. It was not possible to exclude this game for this reason. Playground Games, which is based in Warwickshire admits Horizon 4 isn’t just a love story to motor racing. It’s a love message to home. It will bring forward nostalgic feelings and there is no way to let this game aside. Driving in Forza Horizon 4 is really enjoyable. The cars look great, and the fictionalized United Kingdom surroundings even better. To be honest, I think this game may be my favorite arcade racing game ever. The graphics are extraordinary, unlike any other. I also love the cars and Forza Horizon has more than 450 available already (not to mention the ones added and future additions... in case you have a different number of cars).
Anyone who loves racing games and cars will love the gameplay. You can literally do whatever you please and race any person you want. Also - and this is great - you can simply drive, without racing nobody. You can drive whatever vehicle you desire (cars only). The open-world racing offered by Forza Horizon 4 is unlike anything else. It is a beautifully designed world with four different maps. It also offers a self-renewing and rewarding racing experience that you cannot resist. Playground Games isn't just raising the bar, it's blowing the doors off. It now has even online battle royale gaming. Playground Games' careful attention to car modeling detail and have created a different experience with each one. Each car can be curated and you will get to know it over long drives. Forza Horizon 4 is a "must-have" racing game, and if you did not have the chance to play it, you should get a copy ASAP.

Project Cars 3
Project CARS 3 brings you the best, most exciting, and authentic evolution to the ultimate racing franchise. Project Cars 3 is a simcade, a direction they obviously took to make the game more appetizing to newbies. You will get now a wonderful arcade racing experience, but in case you want some advance sim features, you have them. It is a curious mix that delivers. Project CARS 3 ditches the race driver-for-hire model for a 10-tier curated experience extending from road cars to hypercarsrace cars to faster race cars. Gone is the ability to work your way through individual championships, replaced with a shotgun spray of fairly shallow five-or-so minute occasions. XP is gathered, small smatterings of cash are given, and boxes are checked. The end result greatly resembles 2019's Grid and, even if you are a fan of that console game's easy-to-digest format and zippy, stylized take on motor racing, you might be content with this.
Project Cars 3 is an impressive follow-up to PC2. How do they compare? Project Cars 3 is more slippery than Project Cars 2. This is because the cars are less likely to grip the road. But, again, your argument about the difficulty of PC2 was not due to the Sim-Rig. In PC2, you can see the lap records and the Top 3 records. The car's slippage is caused by weather conditions. With Project Cars 3, Slightly Mad Studios delivers a more accessible and arcadey racing experience, raising its playability for standard controller users and offering us one of the best racing game Career modes around.
