The Evil Within 2 - classic survival-horror gameplay

Sebastian Castellanos is back in The Evil Within 2. If you're at all interested in his and The Evil Within 2's narrative, I highly recommend you play the game. It is tense and captivating and you will be impressed by various aspects of the story, graphics, and narrative. It is rewarding to play the game before watching the movie. In fact, it is better to play it even before you read anything about the story. This way you will appreciate the game for what it is, without comparisons and bias. I would recommend you to buy The Evil Within 2 and give it a try.

The Evil Within 2 is a survival-horror that you must play

Many characters return from the previous game and the overall assumption will make much more sense if you are familiar with the first The Evil Within game's narrative. The world formed from STEM is unsettling, menacing, and consuming. It has to be defeated. The expectation for what's about each corner (and you will be sometimes scared) is sufficient to propel you ahead despite the fear of what evils lurk in the shadows. The atmosphere is almost always tense. The sinister air is a constant presence and you can almost feel it in your body. If somebody would ask me to make a top of the best Xbox games of survival-horror, I would probably put The Evil Within 2 on it. Even if not the first, clearly in the top 10, probably in the best 5.

The Evil Within game's narrative is impressive

As settings shift from a haunting mansion filled with a killer's perverse artwork to murky woods teeming with rabid demons, you will experience a world of scary feelings. But this is what you signed for, and The Evil Within 2 is the new type of survival hero adventure game. Following a brief time off from the genre, Shinji Mikami returned to horror in 2014 to steer The Evil Within. The uncompromising third-person shooter tells the story of Sebastian Castellanos as he enters the head of a psychopath by means of a machine known as STEM. Now the team at Tango Gameworks looks to expand the horrific world they have created with a new string of nightmares.

The Evil Within 2 consists of an enjoyable mixture of open-world and linear chapters

The Evil Within 2 consists of an enjoyable mixture of open-world and linear chapters. In other words, the effort supplies you with the freedom to explore, and sometimes, it expects you to proceed the way it wants you to. Open-world locations have tons of explorable areas and many side-missions and are great for leveling up both your personality and your firearms. It is an Xbox adventure game as much as it is a survival-horror and you will play this game like you are there. You'll definitely want to benefit from these open-world locations as well as the goodies included within them. Linear sections are largely more plot-focused and usually consist of plenty of halls and corridors within buildings that are quite spooky.

The Evil Within 2 isn't a brief affair

Much like the last game, The Evil Within 2 isn't a brief affair. I finished it around fourteen and a half hours, but I did miss one or two minor things along the way. If you go in search of each collectible and anomaly throughout the console game, it is sure to add a few more hours to your playtime. Thankfully, The Evil Within 2 is way more accessible for people who are searching for a hard survival experience but not a soul-crushing one. If you are interested to buy cheap Xbox games, you should consider The Evil Within 2, a survival horror that checks all the right boxes.
