Dishonored 2 is a top stealth-action game, recipient of multiple awards and nominations. There are so many things to appreciate in this game, and despite the fact it was released in 2016, it still is a solid option for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players. The graphic is amazing, detailed, with plenty of things that will enchant the eye, a fantasy world created in a baroque style, an old empire that waits to be explored either as Emily or Corvo, the main playable characters. It is one of the best stealth-action Xbox games of all time, and the fact that it stand the time it speaks volumes. Is Dishonored 2 gameplay good?
This game will amaze you with the quality plot, that seems detached from a quality fantasy movie or series (like Game of Thrones). It is a game that can be played either by Emily or Corvo, but not both at the same time. Also, there is no way to switch between the characters during the game. At the beginning of the game, you will have to pick one, and the other will be turn to stone. Yes. it is a game full of magic and the main villain is a witch that will be faced at the end. Both characters have their own abilities and super-powers, and if you finish the game as one, you will get another storyline by replaying it as the other. Indeed, the replayability of this game is very high.
Who are the characters of Dishonored 2?
Since you can't switch between characters from one assignment/task to the next one, the video game calls for a complete play-through for each of them. This is a smart decision praised by almost all critics and users. If you chose Emily you will access a more stealth gameplay and basic powers. The visibility of female participant characters was something new at that time (in recent time we have The Last of Us that was praised for the female characters). Emily and Corvo employ their own variety of supernatural abilities, although the player can alternatively decide to forfeit these abilities altogether and play the game the old action-way employing aggressive combat.
