Best action-adventure video games of the year

The year just ended and we want to put together a top of the best action-adventure video games of the year. It is somewhat difficult as at the end of the year we put our hands on the new next-gen consoles and some games come out for them. However, most of the action-adventure games are PS4 and Xbox One, meaning they are not enhanced for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S (otherwise everybody knows that you can play PS4 games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox One games on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S consoles. So this is not a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S top, but rather a non-specific best of the action-adventure games.

Assassins Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the latest installment in the franchise, a game that will bring joy to the fans of the series. In Assassin's Creed Valhalla you'll play as hero Eivor - female or male, your choice - and take Vikings and your longships across the sea to England, where you share your ax skills with the natives and'll build settlements. This is an action-adventure game that we all know, without too many improvements in mechanics or gameplay, but strongly enhanced in terms of graphics. The HDR in this Game is also on a different level from anything I've ever seen, and not the HDR but the picture quality is the best I've ever seen as Valhalla is the best looking game ever made, and the Xbox Series X 60fps only makes the Game that far better! This game play's like Zelda of Wild. You claimb mountains, fight swords, ride horses, and call you boat from wherever you're in the console game. It also has one of the best campaigns you will encounter in an action-adventure video game. Valhalla is among top PS5 games out there.

Assassins Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft provided Valhalla with gear bits weapons, and customization skills. There's also bound to be lots of traveling involved with longboats being exhibited in the first trailer's use. What we're expecting to see is loads of characters and exploration . Valhalla will not use a great deal of leveling system. This mean the video game won't force players to go through a franchise of side quests in order to complete the campaign. Assassins Creed Valhalla is a worthy successor in the franchise history, now better on many aspects and enhanced for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a terrific game! It brought back elements of previous game titles, such as mini-game and pursuing the floating papers, and adding new skills, and combat mechanics makes for an extremely entertaining action-adventure game. It is quite addictive, and is certainly worth your money. You will get a great deal of action and you will be amazed by the graphics that are simply out of this world. If you liked all or any of the ones before, you may like this one even more.

Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals: Fenyx Rising takes Ubisoft at a new way, distinct from that of Assassin's Creed. The game title utilizes an open-world, how it goes about it's extremely different. In a glimpse, Immortals Fenyx Rising suggests Baby's First Assassin's Creed Odyssey--and there is no denying, as most of the exact programmers worked on both names. That would not be a problem if Immortals, such as Breath of the Wild, encouraged players to utilize the tools at their disposal to make bespoke solutions to virtually every issue, but Ubisoft is not thinking about handing you that feeling of free will. Generally, it is believe that Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the best Xbox Series X/S adventure games. Whether you believe of Immortals Fenyx Rising as a part of this Breath of the Wild re-rooted in Greek mythology, a kid-friendly Assassin's Creed, or even something all its own, the plain truth is it is eminently playable.

Immortals Fenyx Rising

There is never a lack of things to do, and doing such things is normally a great deal of fun. And in the close of the day, that is pretty much all most people want from an open world experience. Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the last huge video game title releases of this previous calendar year. It could seem as a Breath of this Wild Album, but Immortals Fenyx Rising includes a great deal of special charm which makes it a must-play for lovers of this genre. Immortals contains all of the components I need in the epic, open-world experience steeped in mythology. With enabling battle, rewarding exploration, and a story that shines a spotlight on its own characters through comedy, Immortals Fenyx Rising frees its plethora inspirations to detect its identity and provide an outstanding open-world encounter.

Assassin's Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins is a great game that cannot be overlooked, even if it is rather an old release. It is indeed that good of a game that we can add it to the top of the list even this year. The game's recreation of Ancient Egypt is magnificent and filled with challenges, relics, and puzzles to discover. It isn't the "normal" Ubisoft open-world packed with small icons to search down, either. There are fun points of interest all over the map, from tombs you can raid to fascinating side assignments. Additionally, the revenge tale of primary character Bayek is among the best from the series. Assassin's Creed Origins loses out on what made the series strangely magical however, I redesign the studio for trying something different and creating an incredibly meaty and stunning action adventure title which will keep me busy through the rest of the year.
Assassin's Creed Origins

Broadly, Assassin's Creed Origins does not deviate from the Assassin's Creed formula much, everything in it is only far more satisfying. Combat was revamped completely, with a more RPG-like update system along with a wider variety of enemies that are tougher. There is no longer chain-kills or dodge-attacks to carry you through whole crowds of enemies here, and you can't even rely on the formerly insta-kill hidden blade . But a half-baked battle system and poor RPG mechanics sour parts of the experience. What a difference an excess year makes. Following a few uninspired entries, Ubisoft decided to give Assassin's Creed Origins a longer time at the oven, and the results were quite satisfying indeed. Origins adds a large number of new RPG-like depth to the series, but, more importantly, its world really feels living. Even today, Origins makes an enjoyable playing.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Having a shorter game, Spider-Man Miles Morales' adventure manages to speed up the pace that respects time and makes you yearn for more. In a swift 20 hours you will have seen everything in the open world of Miles, as you meander through the streets of Manhattan at a magnificent 60 fps. The city is more alive than ever thanks to ray tracing, while the story and almost all side quests Delivering a satisfied feeling in combination with an emotional blow that the first part also managed to deliver. Miles' adventure may be even better than Peter Parker's as new battle mechanics make gameplay much better. When you are looking for best PS5 adventure games for PlayStation , Spider-Man: Miles Morales should be placed at the top of the list. All in all, this is a title that we shouldn't forget in regards to the very best action / adventure video games of 2020.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Players interested in the PlayStation 5 already have their eyes on Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Following the resounding success of Marvel's Spider-Man and fans falling in love with Miles after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, everybody has the exact same question: is Spider-Man: Miles Morales be good enough to justify the purchase of a PlayStation 5? Based on the first round of reviews, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a worthy heir for its PlayStation 4 predecessor. With a current Metacritic evaluation of 85, Miles Morales lands near the 87 Marvel's Spider-Man scored in 2018. With a new brilliant and charismatic protagonist, Spider-Man: Miles Morales follows a young man's journey to establishing himself as the new neighborhood Spidey. It has the exact same addictive and stylistic web-slinging gameplay of its former while also providing a fresh and inspiring story that touches relatable real-world themes like unconventional family dynamics, friendship, and gentrification. Miles Morales glows as the brand new Spider-Man in this brief but action-packed experience.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is a great action-adventure video game which worth your money. Shifting the attention of ancient history was always going to be a challenge, particularly with competition from the likes of Assassin's Creed with its epic scale, but I believe Sucker Punch has delivered a more elegant, concentrated experience that offers enough content without the risk of overwhelming its audience. And as there aren't any microtransactions infesting its mechanisms and affecting its balance, Ghost of Tsushima is honorable in its own strategy and deserves to be performed. Ghost of Tsushima is, for now, a PS4 experience and possibly me playing with a variant of this system built in 2014 is partially accountable for the lapses in the console game's visual command. Ghost of Tsushima allows for gamers with different approaches to gameplay to feel accommodated for. Does Ghost of Tsushima shine in its narrative, but even more so in its gameplay. Clearly one of the best PS4 games of the year.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is for lovers who miss the type of action adventure game titles they created in 2007, but with all the advancements and strides video game titles have made in the decade-plus since. On its surface, there is not a lot about Ghost of Tsushima that we haven't seen before. There's a big open world with tons of waypoints and mark indicating distinct actions and missions. Ghost of Tsushima is a it's an aesthetic masterpiece, confined in the canons of the normal open world. No matter how the battle system functions, and the setting recreated by Sucker Punch has a magnetic attraction. Recommended. Players may choose to enage with enemies by stealth or even face-forward, katanas drawn. Not to mention exploration is rewarded with fun secrets and hidden paths. But like a well-made katana, occasionally it's not about the innovation but the polish and the refinement. From the opening segment as Jin races across a field of flowers within an ever-expanding horizon players are talented - since it's certainly a gift - with the capability to venture into Tsushima and discover everything it has to offer.
