Best less known video games
Sometimes we encounter great games that are less known to the others and we have this urge to let everybody know what a discovery we made. I would like to spend some time on some less known games, but video games with great potential or just fun, because you deserve to play good games. There are ps4 games, as well as xbox games that I have in mind, of various genres. Today I pick out an action adventure video game - A Plague Tale Innocence, and an action survival video game - DayZ.
One of my favorite moments is when Amicia spots another wildflower in a lone trek throughout the city, nestled among the corrosion of the rats' nests. Without her brother she places it in her own hair, and picks it up --a personal reminder to keep trudging the hardships, and a testament to her growing strength and tenacity. Moments like these will bring a lump to your throat, as it did mine. We need good examples in video games, and it is heightening that in the middle of a chaotic plague, there is still hope. Hope is a part of our human being, is what move us against the odds, what push as to fight for others, for values, for life.
One of the macabre scenes at A Plague Tale: Innocence is the plague , manifesting in the shape of rats. All these vermin have their incessant screeching, a malevolent presence and scratching on rock pavements and atop piles of corpses making for a nightmarish din. Out of crevices towards their unwitting victims, these creatures pour like sewage sludge, ravaging them till they are just bones and skin. It's an sight--one that will linger in your mind hours later. Comparing with other ps4 games, this one has very good graphics, especially considering the very tight budget they have.
While the core gameplay's puzzle-solving and stealth aren't wholly inventive from a structural standpoint, it's the integration of the swarm-like, horror-styled rats and their intended influence on the tone of such moments that comes to define the experience and is all the better because of it. The game is not without its flaws, but with such a measured and considered use of visuals and sound, particularly in tandem with its narration, you'll be hard-pressed to find a game as unexpected and thus as fascinating as A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Metro Exodus abandons the titular subway setting of the series' previous two games, instead sending players into the irradiated Russia above the surface. It is a beautiful scenery that most people will enjoy. This gives much more options to the developers, and makes the game less repetitive, as a tunnel-only action game could become sometime. It also creates some great contrast, between some shinny apocalyptic landscape on the surface, and dark nightmarish tunnels of Metro. I guess bringing the game to the surface was a very good decision, the open map extended its options and become more versatile.
Metro Exodus is far more structurally ambitious than previous games in the Metro series, both of which were linear adventures confined to post-apocalyptic train tunnels. Exodus tells the story of Artyom, your protagonist for two games/books, desperately seeking a life outside of the Moscow Metro, where the survivors of the war in 2013 have bunkered down for the past 22 years. Metro Exodus is a fun shooter to play, but the most interesting aspect is the survivalist approach. You can play the game without actually focusing on killing zombies. Of course, it is much fun to kill zombies, but it worth mention that you can actually play smart. It is indeed a smart video game this shooter.
Taking Metro Exodus to the surface of earth is a good move for the franchise, but the video game still provides plenty of claustrophobic locations for those who enjoyed the dark tunnel crawls of Metro video games of the past. The ammunition process is limited, though I could see it, but it seems more forgiving now out and better managed. If you haven't played a Metro videogame before or were put off by the surviving video games in the past, give an opportunity to Metro Exodus to show you it worth. You will enjoy the ride and now you can catch this train at a good price. I would recommend it among the best xbox shooting games of the year, and probably the best survival video game yet.
As with both previous Metro video games, Metro Exodus puts its story above nearly everything else, leading to lengthy cutscenes and non-combat gameplay encounters both in the world and out on the train, but it manages to avoid feeling like filler material. In a time when video games are increasingly becoming focused on online experiences and multiplayer ecosystems, Metro Exodus breathes new life, and could not come at a better time. It is about one of the best game stories in the ps4 shooting games universe. The joy of Metro Exodus is little doubt in survival as well as the frightening or exhilarating moments combating other predators or harmful mutants (or occasionally even the post-apocalyptic universe of Russia itself) but there is poignancy in the quiet moments spent on trains chatting it up with Artyom's comrades or listening to their hopes, dreams, and horrible life experiences.
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Powerfully ghoulish aside depictions of rats and the plague, Innocence is finally an story of resilience against odds. We were hit by the new Coronavirus, so we will understand better what this video game conveys. It is a nice approach to storytelling and a good occurrence in the xbox games universe. The video game's title is an obvious nod towards the loss of innocence the endearing young cast faces throughout their journey. But it speaks of the debilitating cost of survival and the depths of human depravity in the midst of war. Regardless of the unremitting horrors of Innocence's beginnings, the game occasionally lets in a faint glimpse of hope.
Metro Exodus
These two video games are worth playing. They are very good action games, one action-adventure, the other action-survival. For those who like a good story, I guess A Plague Tale: Innocence will be a great fit. For fun with friends, in a sanboxed open-world full of zombies, than DayZ will be much better. Both games are set on some Russian territory, not really important, still a fact.
