Death Stranding and A Plague Tale Innocence
A We all enjoy a good action-adventure video game now and then, even if we are not the biggest fans of the genre. Every year come out many good titles, some we already expect them, belonging to world-recognized franchises, some that take us by surprise. This year come out some new action-adventure games that are very good. We feel that we should give them a try, so we took them for a spin and here are our thoughts.
Death Stranding is Kojima's escape, not only from Metal Gear's cardboard box but also from the constraints and recriminations of his former corporate parent Konami. That means the new video game lets Kojima take some daring risks, experimenting with gameplay systems which are somehow completely isolating and profoundly connected to other gamers at exactly the exact same time. In proclaiming that Death Stranding becomes something which feels special, I uncertain shared that adventure a lot. This video game may be exactly what we were expecting. Death Stranding has been a long time coming, born from the ashes of this PT job which included a collaboration with Norman Reedus Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro. Commentators noted that the video game's story and gameplay are awsome and we must play this video game.
Once the basics of these two types of situations have been introduced, the game mixes them up in some very clever ways, and more often than not players will have to deal with both humans and rats at the same time, using one type of enemy to deal with the other as well. However, in comparing A Plague Tale: Innocence to the great companion games of the past, it's noticeable that the gameplay is far less interesting or creative, relying on stale stealth mechanics, giving the player little freedom. With every chapter you receive fascinating info regarding the plague this world or Hugo and his illness that keeps its pace powerful throughout and keeps the story interesting.
Death Stranding
Death Stranding is a very unusual video game, and one that doesn't necessarily fit any genre's description though it is not the completely new genre that Hideo Kojima might have claimed it would be. It is something in-between, nevertheless worthy of player's attention. It's just because of its nature that is distinctive, rather that it is impressive. It places its focus almost entirely on gameplay, which is based on a web of interlocking systems and mechanisms than you would think, knowing Kojima. Plus emergent mechanics, that give a whole next layer to its action. Pepper in a bonkers and sequences and certain horror storyline, and you have one of the weirdest and best titles of the year. This is not one of those buy cheap ps4 games, but I can assure you that it worth your money. It is one of the best games ever, and Kojima is probably one of the best known video games geniuses, certainly a guarantee of a great title.Death Stranding is Kojima's escape, not only from Metal Gear's cardboard box but also from the constraints and recriminations of his former corporate parent Konami. A Plague Tale: Innocence
A Plague Tale: Innocence is an interesting action-adventure video game developed by Asobo Studio Publisher and published by Focus Home Interactive. This is a game made on a very tiny budget, but the result, at least in my opinion, is far better than expected. A Plague Tale: Innocence's story of two orphans surviving in a world ravaged by the Black Death is compelling and the stealth gameplay that runs through it is fine-tuned, but the rat-infested world looks more dangerous than it actually is. Despite the fact that the title's gameplay is standard and generic, the storyline is top notch, and anyone with a penchant for narrative owes it to themselves to check out this one.

I really enjoyed both titles, some of the most interesting I've played recently. They come out last year, before the COVID-19, so I guess it is even more interesting to play both games that have central to their story a pandemic. Death Stranding is very good, one of the best all time, the recipient of many awards and nominations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is good too, not Death Stranding level, but first had one of the biggest budgets for a video game, where the other made the best from a small budget. There are maybe other ps4 and xbox games that are very good, but I focused on some games that are unusual.
