A Plague Tale: Requiem is a game title that I think I will save for Christmas. It is not a jolly story, but it is an immersive one that makes for a great action-adventure-stealth video game. If you like stealth games and enjoy well-built story-driven Xbox adventure game titles, you should add A Plague Tale: Requiem to your shopping list. It should not be the biggest surprise to anyone who played Asobi Studio's precursor in 2019, A Plague Tale: Innocence, which itself offered the same grueling riches-to-rags plunge to the depths of war and suffering amidst the backdrop of 14th-century France. A Plague Tale: Requiem is a thrilling adventure enhanced by excellent gameplay. It is an addictive story-driven narrative that makes this game work but everything else is in place (and much improved over Innocence).
